This week’s assignment in our photography class was to take photographs of a party. How lucky was it that we had our little man’s party planned this week as well?! Although, I have to confess, I was pretty busy cooking for the party to take pictures of everything. I still think I did pretty well.
I will be sharing the recipe for the Pomegranate Sangria and the Balloon Number 3 in a different post. The Sangria was absolutely amazing and went incredibly fast.
We decided to grill for the party on our new grill, thanks to Sears Grilling. Hubby took care of the grilling while I cooked everything else. We were very lucky to finish grilling right in time for a big storm. The minute we took the burgers and sausage off the grill, it got really dark and started pouring.
Since it started storming, most of my pictures did not come out good. It was very dark. I am so upset that the pictures of the cake did not come out at all. I am hoping to get the cake pictures from my father in law, so I can share them with you. These are the best photos that I could salvage. Below are veggie cups, cucumber crostini and bacon/tomato crostini.
We grilled burgers, chicken burgers and Italian sausage. It was a first time that I tried chicken burgers on the grill, (I usually make them on stove-top) it was the best chicken burgers that I’ve ever had! Below is the mushroom/onion burger and it was great too!
Next week is the last week of the class. It flew by too fast! Go see my pictures form week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4 and week 5.
