"O" Is For Owl, "B" Is For Bear, Pottery Barn Kids Review

That is my little man’s breakfast above served in his new plates from Pottery Barn Kids. I got some adorable plates in the mail  the other day, and we love them. I actually haven’t found an item at Pottery Barn Kids that I haven’t drooled over. So, when I was asked if I wanted to review some new items for kids, all I had to day was “Duh”!

My little guy is really into numbers and counting but he hasn’t been too interested in learning the alphabet. He actually responds much better to the pictures on the other side of letter cards. When we go through the alphabet cards, he really likes the pictures, so my approach has definitely been focused on visual learning and on incorporating letters throughout the house.
I thought these plates would be the cutest way to help him with his letters. It’s working so far, Pottery Barn Kids just needs to make 22 more different plates with the rest of the alphabet. Before you say “Ummm, there are 26 letters, so they need to make 24″, I say “nope, there are two more, they also have S is for “squirrel” and F is for “fox”!

I chose the B and O set of plates because I like owls and the little man likes bears. These plates are fun and made in a storybook-style prints with picture of an own and a bear. The owl and bear plates (as well as others) are melamine plates made with eco-friendly bamboo. They are 9″ diameter and dishwasher safe. The plates come as a set of two and there are also matching tumblers, utensils and place mats.

If you are looking for more ideas for decorating your kid’s room or more tableware, make sure to check out the entire tabletop and ABC items over at Pottery Barn Kids. I want to redecorate the bathroom with the ABC bathroom stuff, it’s too cute.
