I want to share another one of my Halloween ideas with you.
Blood Orange Spritzer!!
After seeing some blood orange soda at a store, I though it would be a great drink for a vampire. So I got some and made this awesome cocktail! It would be great for the adult Halloween parties.
Any vampires out there that want to weight in and tell me if you’d like this?
Ingredients:
1 1/4 oz Light Rum
4 oz Merlot
2 1/2 oz Blood Orange soda
Ice and shaker
Directions:
Combine the ingredients and some ice in the shaker. Shake a few times and pour in the wine glass.
Easy and delish!!
To make fake blood, combine 1 tsp of cornstarch and about 5-6 drops of red food coloring. Mix well until all combined. The mixture should be thick, blood-like. If the mixture is still too thin, add a drop of red coloring, one at a time, until reach desired thickness.
To drip it on the side of the glass, I used a medicine syringe (without a needle, of course).
