Creamy Avocado Dressing

Delicious, smooth and creamy avocado dressing, made with fresh avocados, jalapeno pepper, buttermilk and cilantro.

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1 large jalapeno, seeded
  • 2 Tbsp fresh minced cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt to taste


  1. Take out the pit and the skin off the avocado.
  2. Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until completely smooth and blended.
  3. Store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container, like a glass mason jar. (Preferably a glass container.)
  4. (It should be good for 3-4 days.)
