Chocolate Cake Fruit Dip

Smooth and silky fruit dip that tastes just like chocolate cake.

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like COOL Whip)
  • 1 cup chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge topping
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips* optional

  1. To soften cream cheese, simply let it sit on the counter in the original foil package for 30 minutes before using it. 

  2. Beat cream cheese, whipped topping, and cake mix on medium-high speed for about 2 minutes, until smooth and fluffy. (Note: start beating on low speed until cake mix is incorporated so it doesn't poof in your face.)

  3. Add hot fudge topping and heavy whipping cream and beat for another minute or so until all smooth.

  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips if using.

  5. Serve right away or refrigerate in an air-tight container.
