Warm Apple Pie Dip

Ingredients
Apple Pie Filling:

butter

flour

brown sugar

apple pie spice

Cream Cheese Mix:
8
oz
cream cheese
1/2
tsp
apple pie spice
2
tbs
brown sugar
1
tsp
vanilla
2
tbs
milk
Instructions
Combine the ingredients for the cream cheese mix in a mixing bowl and beat well until light and fluffy.
Peel, core and dice the apples.
In a medium sauce pan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and stir well. Add the brown sugar and stir well.
Add the diced apples, apple pie spice and water, stir and cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft.
Cool the apple pie filling for a few minutes, so it's no longer scolding hot.
Fold the apple pie filling into the cream cheese mixture. Mix until evenly incorporated.
*Can be served with apple slices, unsalted pretzels, light plain cookies, graham crackers, baked pie crust, etc.
