Leftover turkey doesn't have to mean another plate of the same Thanksgiving dinner. This turkey salad turns it into something completely different: toasted pecans for crunch, fresh sage for that holiday flavor, and Gruyere cheese instead of the usual cheddar. It's a creamy, savory twist on classic chicken salad, and it comes together in about 15 minutes.
Combine turkey, Gruyere cheese, pecans, and sage in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
Add salt, pepper, mayo, and sour cream. Mix until all combined.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
Note: this recipe doesn't have to be done with leftover turkey. You can get turkey breast at the store and roast it according the the instructions on the package.
