Day two of countdown to New Year’s continues with White Chocolate Mocha martini! Remember the Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur that I mentioned yesterday? I found another, even better way to use it!
Before I give up the recipe, I wanted to share something. I realized that I haven’t even told you how our Christmas went. We had a pretty fun Christmas, fist at home with just three of us and then we went to see the family. I got something pretty exciting from hubby. I got ….
…A wallet! Yeap, I got a 5-dollar wallet from Target. He said he tried finding the ugliest wallet he could, but they didn’t have very ugly ones. No, he doesn’t hate me, hehe.
He was being tricky. He planned a day off for me to have some fun alone. He wrote me a poem describing my day of fun! First, I will be getting a pedicure, then a massage. Then, I will be going to Aldo for a new pair of shoes, then to Dick’s for a new pair of running shoes, then to Forever 21 for a new outfit. Finally, I will be going to Starbucks for a coffee break and then more shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond and Home Goods! I will be having my day off in less than a week and I am so excited!
3 1/2 oz of cold coffee
3 oz Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
1 1/4 oz Kahlua
1/2 tbs white chocolate chips
~ Drop most of the white chocolate chips into the glass but keep 2-3 for later.
~ Combine the liquids into the shaker, shake well and fill up your glass!
~ Using a fine cheese grater, shave those chocolate chips that you set aside over the top of the martini.
Happy New Year!
