Beautiful summer salad that will make a perfect addition to any barbecue! This Strawberry Broccoli Salad is made with fresh broccoli, strawberries, goat cheese, sweet Greek yogurt dressing and topped with poppy seeds.
Got big plans for this weekend? Cleaning your grills and shopping for the big cook out parties?
I was at the store yesterday and, I gotta say, I was lucky to get some produce. People were just grabbing all they can, stocking up for the big barbecue weekend. One lady actually asked me if I needed to get some corn because she was planning on getting all of it! It must be one big party she is planning. Good thing I didn’t need any ground meats or ribs! Those shelves were looking sad and nearly empty.
Well, whatever you will be grilling this weekend, you will be needing this broccoli salad on your plate!
Fresh, beautiful summer salad that has the best combination of flavors. Strawberries and maple syrup in the dressing add a perfect amount of sweetness. Goat cheese is paired great with strawberries and broccoli and pecans add that nuttiness that’s missing.

I can’t wait to get home and make this — normally I would not say I can’t wait to get home from a perfectly good vacation but this recipe sound too good not to share with the entire family. It will definitely be on queue for our next cookout — which is scheduled in about two weeks. Thank you for the recipe and the pics, as always, are fantastic.
