Looked in my fridge tonight and realized that I have way to many leftovers. I really don’t need to cook tonight? Hmmm, strange…I don’t get too many days that I don’t need to cook at least something. My little guy is all set and so as my big guy! I even have myself covered (since I try to eat low cal and low carb, I tend to cook separately for myself).
All night I have been walking into the kitchen every few minutes, not knowing what to do with myself. I cleaned, played with the little guy, drew with the little guy, did all the dishes, played some more. Yet, still kept walking into the kitchen thinking “I need to cook something”. That is when I realized, I might be sick. Wonder if they have Cooks Anonymous? May have to join….
I have to make a confession, I have another sickness… My planning and organizing sickness. I love to plan events and I tend to get a little too into it. I know so many people who are reading this right now and shaking their head “Yeap, yea, she’s crazy”. But it’s ok…everyone suffers from some sort of sickness…at least that is my belief.
I’ve decided tonight, since I was not allowed to cook, that I will start planning my son’s second Birthday Party! I have waited long enough, and I should at least start knocking some ideas around. I know, I know it is 4 months away….I already mentioned I am sick
First things first, I need a theme. That is where we shall begin!…What? You didn’t think I was going to plan the entire party tonight as post it, did you? Ok..ok…you are right, I do have most of the party planned in my head, BUT I will take it slow. I do reserve the right to change my mind at any time…with a proper notice, of course!
I have a couple that I have been thinking about. I need a little help deciding, not so much help, per se, just opinions. What seems like a good idea for a 2nd Birthday Theme?
