Fresh Homemade Pesto

Nothing beats fresh and homemade! Homemade Pesto is my all time favorite sauce to use in the summer!
Fresh Homemade Pesto, perfect sauce to use with just about any dish! willcookforsmiles.com
Since I’ve been growing my own basil, I wanted to make my own pesto. This was my first time making pesto, and it was “delicioso”!!! My basil had been growing like it’s on miracle grow, it looks like I will be able to make more pesto in about a week. Yippee!!
Pesto is amazing and so versatile. I love using it on sandwiches, meats and pasta. It’s also great as a salad mix-in!

  2. If you want to be true ‘Italian Pesto’ you have to use the pine nuts and pecorino cheese, do not get to hear from Liguria that uses nuts and Parmesan cheese!
