Entertaining With Pepperidge Farm Cookies and Party Favors #HolidayGuide

Christmas is only two weeks away and then it’s the New Year’s! Whoo hoo! I love the holidays! I also love holiday parties. They are always so much fun with all the holiday decorations, music and friends. I’m not sure which I like better, the small family and close friends parties or the big loud and rowdy parties. Both have their pros and cons and both are fun. But I think I like smaller parties with close friends better after all.

No matter what kind of parties you prefer, entertaining is still a lot of work. All that fun takes a lot of behind the scenes cooking, cleaning and decorating. Finding any ways to cut some corners, would make it a lot less stressful. I found that cooking some dishes and then getting a few from the store will save a lot of time and energy. You will be able to enjoy the party much more if you aren’t running in and out of the kitchen or exhausted from all the cooking.
Cookies make a very easy dessert for the party and easy to eat for the guests. It’s easier for the host because you can pick up some cookies at the store.

A couple of weeks ago, I shared a great Holiday E-guide from Party Blu Prints. This Holiday guide has a lot of fun idea for hosting the holiday parties. There are holiday cocktail recipes, that I can’t wait to try and cookie recipes. There was also a recommendation for Pepperidge Farm Peppermint Milano mini cookies.

I absolutely love Milanos and mint Milanos, I just had to try the peppermint Milanos. I think that I’m in love with these cookies and so as the little man. He actually stole one bag of cookies and was half way though it when I found him. He knew he was bad but didn’t seem to care much with a mouth full of cookies. I will definitely be putting these cookies on my shopping list for the next party.
I also came up with a nice idea for a party favors. I found a set of 6 cute little coffee mugs at my Home Goods for only $7! I thought it would make a wonderful little party favor or a holiday gift for my guests. The coffee set was pretty plain so I made it “Christmasy” using holiday stencils and glass paint. I added a small bag of Peppermint Milano mini cookies in the cups as well.
I’m sure that the guests will be thrilled to take home these adorable and delicious party favors.
You can also enjoy some leftover cookies and hot cocoa after all that party cleaning is done! (If there is any left :)
