How much do you love to have a blueberry muffin in the morning?! This milkshake tastes just like a fresh baked blueberry muffin…with ice cream… and you can sip it as a dessert!

Oh boy, the weather has been getting hot. I’m feeling like turning on my oven less and less and turning to chilled treats more and more. Are you having the same problem? I really want to bake something delicious and then I get home from being outside and don’t even want to look at my oven.

That’s why popsicles, ice cream and milkshakes make such a perfect treat during summer months.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already saw my little guy stealing my props when I was trying to take pictures of a milkshake. Well, it was a different milkshake that I really wanted to share with you this weekend. I re-made and re-shot that milkshake twice over the weekend but I just could not make the photos work. It was a disaster so I decided to leave it alone for now and make a different milkshake. I made this amazing Blueberry Muffin Milkshake and it was a huge hit at home!

What’s your favorite milkshake?

I really have such hard time choosing because I love them all. Little man and I love milkshakes so much that I now make all my milkshakes light. If you don’t feel like making them light, just use ice cream instead of frozen yogurt and regular milk instead of skim milk.

Mind.blown. I have never thought to add wafers or the sort to my milkshakes before … genius! We’ve definitely been using our blender for chilled treats as the weather has gotten warmer. Can’t wait to give this one a go, pinned!

That looks awesomely creamy and delicious! I love blueberry muffins, so I imagine it would translate wonderfully to smoothie form. 🙂
